About
Ship in the Clouds is a traditional Irish quartet based between Boston and New York, blending fiddle, button accordion, bodhrán, and guitar with an airy lift and a playful energy. The band formed in 2018, released their debut album in 2020, and has appeared at venues including WGBH's A St. Patrick's Day Celtic Sojourn at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA.
The name comes from a crooked American fiddle tune out of the mountains of West Virginia.

Natasha grew up in Abbeyfeale, West Limerick, learning the box from Willie Larkin and Danny O'Mahony. They bring that distinctive West Limerick style, with a soft spot for slides and polkas, to the band. - Anna Colliton · bodhrán
One of the leading exponents of the bodhrán, Anna has appeared with Eileen Ivers, Cherish the Ladies, and the Broadway company of Come From Away. She also made the album's artwork. - Nathan Gourley · guitar
Nathan is a Boston-based fiddler and guitarist known for his work with Copley Street, The Truckley Howl, and Brightly or Darkly. He recorded the album at his Copley Street Studios.
